Most people have been following Pat's case on Facebook.  I have not actively posted here on the blog since Pat was formally sentenced February 15, 2011.  The battle against the legal system for the past five years has been grueling.  On September 6, 2013, we lost another appeal.  I am exhausted from the battles during the past five years.

Our next step after losing on the 6th was to proceed to the Nevada State Supreme Court.  At some point practicality has to be a deciding factor.  Plus my own strength to keep going to fight to save Pat's life.

Pat expressed his desire that I stop; that we accept the situation as it is.  That is hard for me to do but I have to honor his request.  At this time there will be no further legal action in the case of Joseph Patrick Lamoureux.
